another day on the tread mill

Back at it today and added a few weights to the mix.  The goal is to lose 20 lbs for my October wedding.  Honestly, I’d hope to lose 5-7 lbs by May 23 ( my 41st birthday) and five lbs a month for the following three months.  With that pace, I will reach my goal  September 1!  Sweet.

Oh yeah, one of my best friends  is a marathon runner and she has signed us up for a short run on June 1, 2008.  Oh my!  She runs  20 miles daily.  This should be.. fun.

Just getting started

  Wow, this is more difficult than I thought.   My initial start date was delayed a bit because of strep  and now I’m getting into the swing of things.  I will try to run at least four days a week and increase it to six after the conclusion of the semester.

I’m grateful for this online community and look forward to reciprocal support.
